Personnel from the Security and Emergencies Consortium intervened this Monday in the rescue of a person who had suffered a fall on a path located between Puerto Calero and Playa Quemada, in the municipality of Yaiza.
According to the information provided, the alert was received at 12:23 hours, alerting that a person was on the ground and could not walk. During the displacement to the location, the Local Police reported that they had already located the affected person and that they would wait for the emergency services to guide them to the exact spot.
Once at the scene, the interveners verified that the person presented pain in the right ankle. After a first assessment, the area was proceeded to be immobilized with a splint given the suspicion of a possible fracture.
Subsequently, the affected person was placed on a nest stretcher and transferred with the help of the Local Police to the Romeo 2 vehicle. From there, she was evacuated to an ambulance of the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), whose personnel took charge of the injured person.
After the delivery of the affected person to the paramedics, the operation concluded the service.
