Firefighters collaborate with healthcare personnel in the transfer of a person injured in El Golfo.

The affected person suffered a knee sprain and was evacuated from an area of the coastal nucleus of Yaiza this Wednesday, November 14.

The Lanzarote Safety and Emergency Consortium intervened this Wednesday, November 14, in a medical assistance in the town of El Golfo, belonging to the municipality of Yaiza, after being requested by the Canary Emergency Service (SUC).

Once at the scene, paramedics informed firefighters that the person being attended to had a sprained knee and they needed support to move her. The officers proceeded to place the affected woman on a KONG-type stretcher and transferred her to the ambulance.

Upon arrival at the ambulance, she was transferred to the SUC's stretcher for care and transport. Once the intervention was completed, the service was concluded without further incidents.
