Boluntis assisted an elderly foreign woman at approximately 09:45 this Sunday who was dehydrated and disoriented in her home in Puerto del Carmen. Neighbors and relatives of the affected woman had not heard from her for a week, according to firefighters.
When they arrived at the scene, the officers found that the door was locked, so they looked for another place to access the home. After that, they managed to access through the balcony of the house and began searching for the woman.
The woman was found immobile in her bedroom for more than four days and was disoriented and showing signs of dehydration. Boluntis provided first aid while the SUC health personnel arrived.
Upon the arrival of the paramedics, the firefighters collaborated with the evacuation to the ambulance to later transfer her to the hospital.
