A woman has been attacked in Puerto del Carmen this Thursday afternoon. The events took place on César Manrique street around 4:15 p.m., according to witnesses of the event to La Voz.
According to the newspaper, the victim, a clerk at the Hiperdino supermarket, was allegedly attacked with a fork by a man who had entered the establishment.
During the attack, the woman suffered injuries to her forehead and the back of her head. In addition, part of the floor of the premises was covered in blood and damaged, with broken bottles and cans.
After the attack, the woman walked on her own to the ambulance, those present pointed out. Afterwards, she was transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital. Meanwhile, the aggressor has been subdued and handcuffed by the Civil Guard agents.
In addition to the Civil Guard, the Local Police and two ambulances have moved to the area.
Also, witnesses say that the man suffers from mental health problems.
