The Civil Guard of Lanzarote arrested a woman on March 14 as the alleged perpetrator of a theft, for stealing various jewels during the working day at home, with the value amounting to about 7,000 euros, located in the Tinajo area.

The investigation began after the complaint filed by the owner of the house where she resides, being the only person who accesses and resides in the house, realizing that some of the jewels began to be missing, not being able to be another person than the assistant who they have hired to help with the cleaning chores with the house.

The Civil Guard began the corresponding steps for the location and identification of the jewels stolen from the victim in her house, verifying how in one of the establishments dedicated to the purchase of gold on the island of Lanzarote, she had the jewels for sale since the girl who performed the cleaning tasks took the opportunity to steal it when the complainant was not in the house.

Once all the evidence was gathered, sufficient evidence was obtained to arrest the home assistant as the alleged perpetrator of the theft of the jewels.
