The National Police of Arrecife has arrested a 40-year-old man, with multiple police records, as alleged
author of various crimes of robbery with force. Among them, up to four robberies allegedly committed on the same day in different homes.
The events date back to August 30, when agents of the National Police were commissioned by room 091 after receiving a telephone call from a worker of an establishment in the capital of Lanzarote who observed an individual inside and the access door forced.
After a chase through the surrounding streets, his arrest was achieved and the agents were able to locate several objects and items of clothing.
Days later, three reports of robberies with force in inhabited homes were collected at the police station also committed on the same day, August 30, where the complainants provided physical characteristics of the author and a list of objects that the thief took.
The police investigations achieved the full identification of the author and the consequent clarification of the robberies in the homes, resulting in the same individual, so after being located he was arrested again.
In both arrests, once the police proceedings were completed, he was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, who ordered his release with charges.
