Last Thursday a man was arrested for hitting another man in the vicinity of a bar in Arrecife, according to police sources to La Voz. The aggression occurred around 11.40 pm at the door of the Timanfaya bar, when the owner of the establishment alerted about the event.
According to La Voz, the detainee and his companion, another man, were throwing stones and causing damage in the surroundings of the bar. At that moment, the injured man left the establishment to reproach their attitude and was attacked.
The victim received a beating, in which he was hit with a stone, suffering bleeding wounds in the mouth and multiple contusions on the body. In addition, due to the blows he lost consciousness and had to be transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital to be treated.
Agents of the National Police moved to the scene and with the data collected were able to arrest one of those involved, while the second fled, according to police sources to the newspaper.
