A man was transferred this Saturday, August 23, to the Doctor José Molina Orosa University Hospital after self-harming himself in a home in the capital of Lanzarote.
The incident took place around 11:45 p.m. and mobilized an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service, as well as agents from the Local Police and the National Police and the Emergency Consortium to the scene.
Paramedics attended to the affected person at the scene and, once stabilized, he was evacuated with the collaboration of firefighters to the ambulance to be subsequently evacuated to Molina Orosa.
Police officers collaborated with emergency and health personnel.
