The City Council of Arrecife has fined the owners of two establishments up to 30,000 euros for carrying out activities without their corresponding enabling licenses. One of them operated as a mechanical workshop in Titerroy and the other sold military sporting goods and weapons, in addition to holding commercial events with salsa and bachata classes
The municipal plenary session held last Friday agreed to decree the closure of both establishments and impose an economic sanction of 15,001 euros on each for carrying out these respective activities without a municipal license. The vehicle mechanics workshop was carried out at number 11 Gaida street, in the Titerroy neighborhood. The Local Police carried out follow-up and investigation work to determine that these activities were being carried out without municipal authorization
During the development of the plenary session, the councilor of the Area of Infractions and Sanctions, highlighted the non-compliances and the absence of the necessary authorizations to carry out an activity, for infraction of Law 7/2011, of April 5, on Classified Activities and Public Shows and other Complementary Administrative Measures. The instruction incorporates the report from the Civil Guard where it was proven that said establishment lacked the mandatory authorization from the Ministry of the Interior for the **sale of weapons**
