A 23-year-old woman has become the second fatal victim of the accident recorded in the early hours of Wednesday in Playa Blanca, due to the severity of the injuries she suffered. The vehicle crashed into a palm tree at the entrance to Marina Rubicón and at the scene the death of one of the occupants of the car, a 35-year-old man, was certified, while five other people were injured.
The most serious was this young woman, who suffered a head injury and was transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital. Upon arrival, she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where she died shortly after.
The other injured were a 26-year-old woman who suffered serious multiple injuries, a 19-year-old woman who suffered a fracture of the elbow and ankle, a 25-year-old man with moderate multiple contusions and a 20-year-old man who presented moderate multiple contusions. All of them were transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa hospital, together with the young woman who has died.
The incident occurred at around 3:19 in the morning, and firefighters had to intervene to free the occupants of the vehicle, who had been trapped inside due to the state of the car.
