A family from Tegueste, on the island of Tenerife, found the head of their pet at their doorstep. According to the coordinator of PACMA in Tenerife, Cristo Gil, on social media, someone decapitated the family's dog, named Boli, and left the head on the step of the house.
The events occurred on the main road of Punta Hidalgo, in Tegueste. "It is one of the worst images that have come to me over the years," he said in a publication where he shared images of the beheaded animal. "Imagine coming home and seeing your dog's head at the door and not finding the body," he continued.
According to Cristo Gil, the family has reported the person who allegedly killed and beheaded the animal. "I don't even know what to say about the atrocities that are done to animals on these islands," he concluded.
