Andrés Pallarés passed away this Monday at the age of 78, one of the deans of the Lanzarote press.
Pallarés worked at Telégrafos before starting in the media where he was a correspondent for the provincial press. He founded the weekly Lancelot together with Aureliano Montero and Antonio Coll, presented the La Destiladera program together with José Domingo Hernández and also made local television on Archipiélago TV.
Andrés Pallarés is the brother of Agustín, Adopted Son of Lanzarote.
This Tuesday, June 20, the Word of God will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. in the church of the Insular Hospital, and from there, to the Arrecife Cemetery where he will be buried.
