A toolshed suffered a fire this Sunday in the rear area of the Mozaga gas station, in the municipality of San Bartolomé, according to the Emergency Consortium has reported.
The event took place around 6:49 p.m., when firefighters received an alert about a fire in a tool shed, so they headed to the scene with a light urban pump and a tender.
When they arrived at the area, Local Police officers were already at the scene and facilitated the access of the personnel. The neighbors alerted the firefighters to the existence of butane gas cylinders inside the building.
The personnel extinguished the flames with approximately 1,000 liters of water and verified that there was no one inside. The fire affected one of the rooms, but the smoke spread throughout the premises.
After checking that there was no risk of re-ignition, the emergency services declared the service finished.
