A cyclist was injured on the afternoon of this Saturday, March 28, after suffering a fall while riding between Playa Lambra and Pedro Barba, on the island of La Graciosa, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
The alert was received at 14:08 hours through CECOES, activating a level 2 service. The rescue team moved to the location with the vehicle Romeo 3, a 4x4 off-road vehicle, to assist the affected person.
Upon their arrival, the officers verified that the woman had a wound and had suffered convulsions after the fall, although she was in good general condition. Emergency services remained in the area until the arrival of personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), who took charge of her assistance and subsequent transfer to a health center.
Once healthcare attention was transferred and as their intervention was not necessary, the Consortium's personnel concluded the service and returned to base.
