Accident between two vehicles next to the CEIP Costa Teguise

Two vehicles have collided on Tuesday afternoon, June 9, on Calle del Tenderete, next to the CEIP Costa Teguise, in the municipality of Teguise.

The accident took place around 7:30 PM and, as a consequence of the impact, one of the cars ended up embedded against a wall located near the road.

Local Police officers, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), and personnel from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium have been dispatched to the scene.

Paramedics attended to the occupants of both vehicles at the scene and, initially, no serious injuries were apparent.

For their part, firefighters carried out work to secure and reposition the vehicles involved, while Local Police officers regulated traffic in the area and were responsible for preparing the corresponding report.
