The strong waves have forced the closure of a section of the Arrecife promenade, near Punta del Camello. Traffic personnel and local police officers went to the site shortly before 2 p.m. to install fences to block the passage, due to the danger of transit through the area.
On the morning of this Wednesday, several young people could be seen next to the wall, in the middle of high waves that crossed the entire promenade. Finally, it has been decided to prohibit passage to avoid recklessness and risky situations.
In one part of the fenced section, small stones can be seen that have been dragged by the waves, posing an added danger.
