A woman has died and another remains in serious condition after falling from a height of 20 meters with a buggy in the Roferos area, between Teseguite and Guatiza. The 45-year-old woman who remains in critical condition has a traumatic brain injury and has been transferred by firefighters to the road to be evacuated to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital in a medicalized ambulance.
The events occurred at 3:30 p.m. this Monday, as confirmed by the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).
Apparently, the vehicle would have left the road, lost control and fallen down the ravine. According to La Voz, it is a foreign mother and daughter who were on vacation and had rented the buggy. It was the mother, who was about 60 years old, who died.

The helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES), agents of the Local Police of Teguise, Civil Protection and the Civil Guard, as well as two ambulances, one with basic life support and another medicalized, have been transferred to the area.
The GES helicopter that traveled to the area finally did not intervene since the firefighters were able to transfer the affected person on foot to where the ambulance was located.
The police services have taken charge of the corresponding procedures.
