A surfer and two Emerlan lifeguards rescued a swimmer in distress in Famara this Monday.
According to the NGO, two girls alerted about the situation of their companion, who was behind the break and had tried to get out several times without success.
The Emerlan drone team intervened to locate the victim and guide the rescuers.
Finally, a local surfer accompanied by two Emerlan aquatic lifeguards, both with boards, managed to get him ashore.
An Emerlan ambulance, Civil Protection, Local Police, Civil Guard and Maritime Rescue participated in the service.
