Emergency teams found the body of a deceased person on a beach in Puerto del Carmen early this Tuesday morning. According to La Voz, it is a 34-year-old English man who was on vacation on the island.
At 7.40 am, the Coordinating Center for Emergencies (CECOES) was alerted that a corpse had been found in Playa Chica, in the tourist town of Tías, in Lanzarote.
An ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and the police went to the scene. Initial indications seem to indicate that it is a suicide.
