A 60-year-old paraglider was injured with a possible fracture in the hip and leg after falling in the area of the Mirador del Río. The event took place at 3:22 p.m. this Sunday.
Once the CECOES was alerted, Emerlan volunteers, Civil Guard, Civil Protection, Local Police and the GES helicopter went to the scene.
Emerlan volunteers stabilized him and immobilized him on a stretcher to transfer him to the helicopter that evacuated him to the Fire Station in Arrecife. From there he was taken by ambulance to Molina Orosa.
