A 61-year-old foreign paraglider has been moderately injured after suffering a fall near the Mala dam in the municipality of Haría.
The accident took place at 11:26 a.m. this Saturday, February 22. After being alerted by the CECOES, a basic life support ambulance, a GES rescue helicopter, the Emergency Consortium, Local Police and Emerlan have been dispatched.
The GES helicopter has located the affected person and rescued her, and later took her to the helipad of the fire station where an ambulance from the SUC was waiting.
The health personnel has assisted the affected person who, at the initial moment of assistance, presents a trauma to the hip of moderate character. She has been transferred in a basic life support ambulance of the SUC to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital
The firefighters and the Local Police have collaborated with the displaced resources.
