A paella in poor condition was what caused the food poisoning for which 34 people were treated on Sunday in the Emergency Room of the Molina Orosa Hospital and the health centers of Valterra and Tías.

According to what has been transferred from the Ministry of Health, that is what the analyzes of the samples that Public Health took have concluded, after detecting that all those affected had consumed food that a person had made and had distributed to several families.

In this regard, the Ministry of Health has confirmed that the origin of the food is not related to any commercial establishment, although it is unknown if the person who made it distributed it altruistically or sold it to those affected.

Thus, the regional Executive insists on the importance of buying food in establishments that have health controls.
