National Police agents have arrested a 42-year-old man of German nationality in Arrecife, with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of trespassing and animal abuse. The arrested man entered the house of a stranger, attacking the owner and also kicking the victim's chihuahua dog, fracturing five ribs.
The events were triggered by the complaint of a citizen, reporting that a stranger had entered his home without his consent, attacking him and his dog, causing injuries to both.
The police officers thus began an investigation, in which they were able to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrator, who turned out to be a 42-year-old man of German nationality, with no police record.
The victim was treated at a health center in Arrecife for the injuries suffered and the dog had to be admitted to a veterinary center in the capital of Lanzarote for having five ribs fractured. Once the corresponding police report was prepared, it was sent to the competent Judicial Authority.
