A man has been treated by the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) after allegedly being attacked by his ex-partner in a financial institution in Playa Blanca. The victim had minor injuries, mainly to the face.
The events occurred around 9:20 a.m. This man entered the bank and was waiting in line to be attended to. Suddenly, according to witnesses who were present at the time of the events, a woman entered, went directly towards him, and began to hit him.
The victim ended up falling to the ground and sustained an injury to his face. According to witnesses, the man claimed that the person who had attacked him was his ex-partner.
The 112 emergency service received the alert a few minutes after these events occurred. It reported that a person "had been attacked." Thus, the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) sent a basic life support ambulance to this bank, located between Varadero and Correíllo streets. The man was eventually transferred to the Playa Blanca clinic.
