Firefighters assist an injured man after his car crashed on Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen. According to reports, the vehicle left the road, crashed into a tree and also into a vehicle parked in the area.
Activated by the Local Police, the "Boluntis", the Lanzarote Volunteer Firefighters have moved to the area at 1:50 p.m.. Upon arriving at the scene and verifying that the man was injured and presented a cervical pain, they proceeded to assist him.
According to reports, they placed a neck brace on him and waited for the health services to arrive. Afterwards, he was transferred to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
In addition to the firefighters, Local Police and SUC personnel also went to the scene, they add.
