A diver in distress is rescued in La Graciosa

The man, who was equipped with diving equipment, showed symptoms of being unable to move on his own, as well as pronounced dizziness.

Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium have collaborated with the island's health services in the rescue of a diver with health problems in La Graciosa. 

At 13:50 in the morning, while the firefighters were at the port of Caleta de Sebo and seeing that the emergency teams were arriving at the jetty, the firefighters approached the place. 

There, there was an injured man who was transported in a zodiac to the area. The man, who was equipped with diving equipment, showed symptoms of being unable to move on his own, as well as pronounced dizziness.

The firefighters, in coordination with the health personnel, proceeded to carefully transfer him using a scoop-type stretcher to the ambulance. After completing the transfer of the injured man to the ambulance, and ensuring that the situation was under control, the firefighters ended their intervention at approximately 14:05.
