A delivery truck caused an accident in Puerto del Carmen this past Saturday, after it ran out of brakes while parked, according to the Lanzarote Volunteer Firefighters.
The incident affected two vehicles and partially damaged one of the entrances to an apartment complex. Fortunately, there were no human injuries.
It was the Local Police who alerted the Lanzarote Volunteer Firefighters. Emergency teams controlled fuel spills and removed the affected metal fence.
The truck was chocked and marked until its removal with heavy machinery was organized. For its part, the Local Police was in charge of carrying out the corresponding report.
