A minor has been moderately injured after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle. The events occurred on Alfonso XIII street in San Bartolomé at 6:32 p.m. this Sunday.

After receiving a call, the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands immediately activated the necessary resources. The staff of the SUC medicalized ambulance assisted the child, who was later transferred to the hospital in a basic life support ambulance. Meanwhile, the Local Police regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures.

The ten-year-old boy had a cranial trauma and moderate multiple contusions, so he was transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

While the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 also activated a medicalized ambulance and the local police of San Bartolomé.
