A boat with thirteen immigrants, one of them a woman, has arrived at Famara beach on this first day of 2017. A call has alerted of the boat and emergency services have been quickly activated. The Red Cross has moved an ambulance and a rescue team to the place to provide first assistance to the people who have arrived in the boat.
Once the arrival was known, Alicia Martín, President of the Red Cross in Lanzarote, told La Voz "that they are all in good health, so it has not been necessary to transfer them to Molina Orosa." Agents of the Local Police of Teguise have also come to the beach to assist them.
