A 64-year-old diver is in serious condition after suffering a near drowning in the port area of Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza, as reported by the Canary Islands Government Emergency and Security Coordinating Center 1-1-2.
The affected person has been transferred in a medicalized ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The 1-1-2 was alerted at 13.09 hours that a diver had difficulty breathing after diving into the sea, so it activated the necessary emergency resources: personnel and ambulances of the SUC, as well as members of the Civil Guard and Local Police.
