A 45-year-old man has died after being trapped in a machine while working on his house in El Cuchillo. The incident took place at approximately 08.34 this Saturday.
Once alerted by the CECOES, Local Police, Civil Guard, a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Service and the Emergency Consortium have moved to the scene.
The firefighters had to free the body from the mini shovel, once the judge authorized the removal of the body after the coroner certified the death. The deceased was a well-known person in the municipality.
The judicial transfer car has taken the body to the Forensic Clinic of the Arrecife Palace of Justice, where the autopsy will be performed.
The Emergency Consortium has activated the ERIE psychosocial of the Red Cross to assist the victim's relatives.
