A 40-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being run over this Wednesday in Costa Teguise, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center.
The accident occurred at around 10 in the morning on Avenida El Mar in the coastal town. Once alerted by the CECOES, Local Police and two ambulances, one basic life support and one medicalized, have moved to the place.
The health personnel has assessed the woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presents serious polytrauma, and once stabilized she has been transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
For its part, the Local Police has been in charge of instructing the corresponding procedures.
