The affected person suffered a blow to the head and was transferred by ambulance to Molina Orosa

A 40-year-old man was injured in a fight with another individual that took place on Monterrey Street in the capital of Lanzarote, Arrecife, around 6:00 p.m. The man suffered a blow to the head during the altercation. 

The injured man of Moroccan nationality needed to be transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa hospital to receive medical attention. The other individual involved in the fight was also evaluated by the medical services, but it was not considered necessary to transfer him to the hospital.

The National Police went to the scene and also the Local Police who sent three vehicles. The National Police has taken charge of the investigation.

The firefighters also went to the scene to clean up the remains of blood left after the altercation.
