A 35-year-old man died on Monday night after being attacked with a knife in the Rambla Medular of Arrecife.
The stabbing took place at around 9:50 p.m., when the CECOES requested health assistance for a man who had been the victim of an attack on the street.
A medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance from the SUC and National Police went to the scene.
The affected person had stab wounds to the neck and chest, so from the 1-1-2 operating room, the SUC staff gave instructions to the callers on how to contain the bleeding until the arrival of health resources.
Later, the injured man went into cardiorespiratory arrest and the SUC health personnel performed basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers, without success, confirming his death.
The National Police took charge of the proceedings.
