A 30-year-old man was moderately injured in Arrecife early this Sunday morning after being mugged and stabbed with a knife in the scapula, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes). The 112 Room received the alert of what happened at 5.56 am.

A medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) has transferred him to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital, in Arrecife.

The events occurred on Fuencaliente Street, in the Las Salinas neighborhood.

The National Police has instructed the proceedings of the event. For its part, the Local Police has collaborated with the emergency teams.
