A 19-year-old girl has been arrested this week in Arrecife for a "serious crime against public health", according to the City Council. Her arrest was carried out by agents of the Citizen Security and Intervention Unit of the Local Police of Arrecife (USCI), whose head is the councilor David Duarte.
The detainee, whose initials are L.D.M.P, and is a native of Colombia, "possessed large quantities of different types of drugs such as hashish, pollen, marijuana and MDMA pills, usually known as ecstasy, presented in different colors, shapes and designs, prepared for distribution, as well as fractionated money", the Consistory points out in a statement.
The events occurred when the USCI agents were providing surveillance service and surprised the young woman in a suspicious attitude. For this reason, the arrest of this person was carried out, who was brought to justice.
