The Civil Guard of Costa Teguise has arrested in November 5 people between 29 and 46 years of age for crimes of robbery with force of construction material valued at 18,500 euros.
The detainees have numerous police records; four for crimes against property, two for robbery with force and one for receiving stolen goods, after having accessed various works in the town of Playa Blanca by breaking the access fences and stealing 740 boards, valued at 18,500 euros.
The owner of the construction company filed a complaint with the Main Post of Costa Teguise alleging that construction material had been stolen from him in recent months. In addition, he suspected that it could be for sale on social networks since he claimed to have seen advertisements with about 150 similar boards.

On November 13, it proceeded to arrest three of them and, the following day, two other people, for crimes of robbery with force, for stealing 740 wooden boards without being able to justify their origin.
One of them was also arrested for renting a van to commit the criminal acts and, the fifth detainee, for buying the stolen material (crime of receiving stolen goods). In the course of the investigation, a total of 170 stolen wooden boards were recovered, valued at 4,250 euros.
