A 30-year-old cyclist has been seriously injured after suffering a fall in La Geria, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security. The person affected presented a traumatic brain injury and has been evacuated to the Doctor Molina Oros Hospital.
The accident took place at approximately 9 a.m. this Saturday, September 27, on the road to Tinguatón, in the municipality of Tinajo.
After being alerted by the CECOES, two ambulances, one medicalized and one basic life support, from the Canary Emergency Service and the Civil Guard have been dispatched.
The healthcare personnel has assisted the injured person and, after stabilizing him, he has been transferred to the hospital. For their part, the Civil Guard agents have instructed the corresponding proceedings.
