The Catholic community of Titerroy gathered at 12 noon in the parish church to participate in the celebration of the Eucharist, which was presided over by the parish priest Manuel Arencibia, assisted by Juan Manuel Molina, parish priest of Teguise, and Rafael Tejera, parish priest of Tiagua.
The Liturgy group was in charge of the readings corresponding to the festivity of Saint Joseph the Worker, instituted in the year 1955 by Pope Pius XII before a group of workers gathered in Saint Peter's Square in the Vatican. The songs were interpreted by the choir of the parish of San Francisco Javier under the direction of Lizandro.
After the Eucharist, the members of the choir and the entire assembly sang the hymn to Saint Joseph. Afterwards, the procession began, headed by the Music Band "La Unión Musical de Lanzarote", directed by Professor Alfonso Duro Cabezón, followed by the image of Saint Joseph the Worker, the officiating priests and the parishioners, making a tour of the streets adjacent to the church. The local police and Civil Protection were responsible for directing traffic throughout the entire route.
