The Teguise City Council has inaugurated this Wednesday the initiative through the Department of Commerce and Consumption, led by Nieves Martínez Holguera, and FELAPYME. The Christmas Market also has the collaboration of the Commerce and Crafts area of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, led by Aroa Revelo Betancort, the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers and the General Directorate of Commerce and Consumption of the Government of the Canary Islands.
For the sixth consecutive year, the Teguise Christmas Market is presented as a leisure offer that has been consolidated edition after edition as an essential event in the pre-Christmas dates, with great novelties. This year, in addition, it has been wanted to distribute throughout the Historic Center of La Villa, with activities and events in the main squares of the town.
The main novelty is the "Chinijos" area, a children's leisure space installed in the Plaza Maciot de Bethencourt, where Santa Claus' House will be located, with visits every day of the market, at 12:00h and at 18:00h, and the Flying Chairs attraction, which will be open every day from 11:30h to 19:30h
