The Society of Culture, Recreation, and Sports Torrelavega concluded with great success the Third Domino Tournament, framed within the Cultural Agenda 2026.
With a duration of three months every Monday the Third Domino Tournament was held, with a very good atmosphere among the participating teams where camaraderie was always the predominant note with the healthy intention of having a good time among friends.
The tournament featured the participation of 16 teams, composed of two or three players per team facing each other in a league system, round-robin, playing two games each matchday.
Torrelavega is very grateful for the work carried out by Antonio Medina, the true architect of the tournament, to the domino club "28 Fichas", to its president Adrián without forgetting the great collaboration of Orlando and Ángel. The club "28 Fichas" gifted the director Luis González, the Torrelavega bar and the Restaurants el Mandingo and Grisaleña with a sculpture for their collaboration and involvement in the tournament.
The classification remained as follows:
Champions: Antonio Medina and Antonio Perdomo
Runners-up: Manuel Lago and Victorino Arrocha
Third place: Gopar, Orlando and Adrián
Express Tournament: Champions: Olegario, Né and Luis.
The management of S.C.R.D. Torrelavega presented a sculpture to: Antonio Medina. Luis González and the 28 Fichas Domino Club for their valuable collaboration.
The president of S.C.R.D. Torrelavega Antonio Ramos (Toñin), highly valued the success obtained in this tournament, highlighting the good atmosphere reigning among all participants, committing to include the tournament in the cultural programming for the next year 2027 with an annual event. The grand final of the Domino Tournament ended with a get-together among all participants.
