The management of the S.C.R.D. Torrelavega on Thursday night presented the cultural program corresponding to the end of the current year. The president of the Torrelavega society, Toñín Ramos, was in charge of welcoming the municipal authorities present and the numerous public that completed the allowed capacity. Once his intervention was concluded, the inauguration of the exhibition Architectural Miniatures in the Rural and Urban Environment, a work by Pablo Pérez from Tenerife with university training in Technical Architecture, took place.
In the exhibition, visitors can observe a detailed and evocative vision of Canarian architecture represented in delicate miniatures, which capture the essence and character of the Canary Islands. The carefully crafted pieces reflect both the rural and urban heritage of the Canary Islands, promising to transport visitors on a journey through time and space.
Pablo Pérez has donated all the exhibited work to the Torrelavega Society, putting each of the works on sale and all the proceeds will go entirely to the cultural purposes programmed by said society. The public, upon learning the news, responded with a warm applause for the solidarity gesture of the author Pablo Pérez.
Next, the first concert of the cultural days was held with the show Timplefonía, with the participation of great young professionals from Lanzarote in the musical and cultural field such as the timple players Alexis Lemes and José Vicente Pérez, the guitarist Adrián Niz and the soloists Almudena Hernández and Orlando Niz.
A Quintet of great height for the beginning of the new cultural program, the complicity between both transported the audience with a varied repertoire of musical genres from different Latin American countries, keeping very present the song with Canarian roots, achieving the loudest applause of the night with an enthusiastic audience that, standing up, asked them to continue, finally rewarding them with an Isa Parrandera.
