Lanzarote will be the setting for the filming of part of the third season of La Reina del Flow, the most watched Spanish-speaking series worldwide on the Netflix platform. This is the first time that the production has crossed the borders of Latin America to film in Europe.

The filming will be possible thanks to the organization of the company DN7 Music and the sponsorship and collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism (CACT), the Society for Foreign Promotion of Lanzarote (SPEL), the Arrecife City Council, the Security and Emergency Consortium and the Government of the Canary Islands.

Since its premiere in 2018, La Reina del Flow has captivated audiences around the world with its story full of emotions, drama and music. The plot, centered on the life of Yeimy Montoya and her struggle to overcome adversities while conquering the world of reggaeton together with the other protagonist, Carlos Torres (Charlie Flow), has become a resounding success, accumulating awards such as the International Emmy for Best Telenovela in 2019. The third season promises to keep viewers glued to their seats with unexpected twists, more music and unforgettable moments.

The technical and production team is already in Lanzarote with the preparations for the recording day, which will take place on Monday, January 13 and in which its fans will have the opportunity to participate.

The main cast, led by Carlos Torres in the iconic role of Charlie Flow, has started filming this third season in Colombia, and is preparing to travel to Lanzarote. The recording will not only allow fans of the series to get closer to their favorite stars, but will also generate a significant impact on the international projection of the island.

The choice of Lanzarote as the setting for a production of this magnitude represents "a unique opportunity." With millions of viewers around the world following every detail of La Reina del Flow, the island's landscapes and cultural richness will be shown on the screens of millions of homes. This will "open new doors for tourism and the local film industry and position the island as a benchmark destination for major audiovisual projects," the Cabildo added in a press release.

In the coming days, the organization will provide more details about the development of this historic event through its official social networks and the media.
