The Spanish writer and essayist Remedios Zafra will offer a presentation next Thursday, May 9, at the headquarters of the César Manrique Foundation in Arrecife, in the Plazuela. Under the motto Reasons for a rebellious writing will give a talk that can be attended for free.
The Cordovan is a university professor and researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). In addition, she holds a doctorate and degree in Art, a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology, doctoral studies in Political Philosophy and an International Master's Degree in Creativity.
As stated on her website, her work is oriented to the critical study of contemporary culture, feminism, the transformation of creative work and identity policies in social networks.
In addition, she has been awarded on several occasions. Among them, she has received the Anagrama Essay Prize, the Critical State Prize, the Malaga Essay Prize, the International Literary Prize 'Women of the Rural and Fishing Environment', among many others.
