The singer, composer and actress from Lanzarote, Eva Ruiz, presents her new single Quiero Contarte, a collaboration with the Canarian artist Maikel Delacalle. This song is part of the soundtrack of the movie Your Fault, from Prime Video, where the conejera also plays the role of Jenna.
Quiero Contarte is a song that combines the essence of R&B with a distinctive urban touch. Composed by Eva Ruiz and Maikel Delacalle, and produced by Lupion, the single was recorded in Tenerife more than a year ago. "The song reflects the essence of the music I make, while Maikel brings his urban style, also maintaining that R&B root that we both share," explains the artist.
The creative process of this collaboration was as natural as it was inspiring. Ruiz comments that "when I work with Maikel everything flows very organically. The concept and the lyrics came quickly. Having the song in the movie Your Fault and sharing this with someone I consider family like Maikel makes me very excited."
This theme puts the finishing touch to a year "full of successes for the Canarian artist", but also kicks off a promising 2025 for Eva, full of new music.
The soundtrack of My Fault also includes the song Ahora Que Puedo, which Eva wrote when she was only 16 years old. If singing and acting were not enough, Eva is also a model and has appeared in publications of Vogue Spain, GQ Spain and in campaigns such as Calvin Klein and Uniqlo, among others.
