The Popular Party of Yaiza accuses the southern City Council, led by Óscar Noda, of "refusing to maintain" a meeting with the association of fairground workers after the problems with the group in the past El Carmen festivities, in Playa Blanca.

The popular ones assure that "given the mayor's refusal to hold a meeting and delegate to the councilor", the association has decided "not to set up the traditional cars or the rest of the attractions." The party in the opposition accuses the mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda of "not worrying" and of refusing to "listen to the concerns and proposals" of the fairground workers.

The Popular Party rejects the mayor's attitude because they consider that "the town hall must do everything possible to avoid this situation" and "if the fairground workers really feel mistreated by the conditions that are demanded of them, the least the highest municipal official can do is attend to them, listen to them and see if an understanding can be reached for the benefit of all."

In addition, they have added that "the fairground workers considered the requirements imposed by the town hall excessive." Among them, they assure that only for the registration of each device 1,000 euros were charged, "whether they set it up later or not", in addition to the fact that "the fairground site did not have direct connections to the electricity grid and they had to put in a transformer, for which they also had to pay for occupation, regardless of the fact that the engine and the water to supply the caravans where they live also ran on their own account."
