The Art, Culture and Tourism Centers encourage the population, in general, and comic and illustration lovers, in particular, to take part in 'Perifest', a meeting around the universe of graphic arts promoted by graphic artists Marina Speer and Ico Mosquera, which will be held between October 18 and 21.

“It is a great opportunity to exchange ideas around an art sector present in our daily lives in countless areas of consumption such as cinema, advertising, the press, animation and video games,” said the Entity's advisor, Ángel Vázquez.

'Perifest' will take place over "four theoretical sessions" and as many workshops in which graphic content creators as recognized as Luna Pan, Rut Pedreño, Emilia Ibañez, Guillermo Saavedra and Theo Corral will present their point of view and share their experience in topics related to editorial illustration, comics, concept art, animation and self-publishing.

The presentations, open to minors accompanied by adults, will take place in the mornings at the Pancho Lasso Art School, while the workshops, aimed at people over 16 years of age, will be held in the afternoon at the Islote de Fermina.

'Perifest' will conclude with a graphic art market, a talk and a workshop on Saturday, October 21, at the Islote de Fermina. Both the presentations and the workshops are free, although it is necessary to register in advance at the link.
