After four intense days carried out by the 22 Spanish Bartenders Associations participating in the LXIX National Cocktail Competition, on Thursday night at the Casa Museo del Campesino restaurant, the names of the two contestants who will be representing Spain in the international competition to be held in Colombia were announced.

Representing the young people will be Robin Michel Ober, representing the Bartenders Association of Malaga, and representing the head bartenders will be Cristian Monasterio García, representing the Bartenders Association of Asturias.

During the night, the winners in the different categories were announced, but without a doubt, the most anticipated moment was when the gala host and presenter, Carmen Nieves Pérez, announced the names of the finalists.

There were very emotional moments during the night when the Lanzarote Bartenders Association presented the Gold Badge to three members who have been leading the Association for more than 45 years: Félix Fernández, Alejandro Acuña and Bienvenido Saavedra.

Another surprised person was the president, Wenceslao Gil Tejera, when his colleagues presented him with a Gold Watch for so many years at the head of the association, and the mayor of the municipality of Tías, José Juan Cruz, presented him with a sculpture.

The night continued very lively among all the contestants, enlivened with the good music of the Jable band and putting the finishing touch to the closing of the LXIX National Cocktail Competition.
