The El Salinero Theater hosted the presentation of the Los Tabletuos murga this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. "It was a very familiar and close act. We don't usually do presentations every year, but this year is our anniversary, so it's a special date," says Aday, one of the members of the murga.
The act, which was presented by José Duarte, also included the participation of the Los Timanfeiros troupe, and after its staging, a video of the first year of Los Tabletuos was broadcast.
"Then we moved on to what was our performance: we sang two songs and two members of the murga received awards because they have been in the group for 20 years," explains Aday. "The design and making of our costume is 100% by Toño Aparicio and the name of the fantasy is 20 years without dropping anchor," he adds.
Regarding this Tuesday, February 14, the date on which the Arrecife 2023 murga contest will take place, Aday points out that they will meet at their premises first thing in the afternoon to begin preparing. "At 6:30 p.m. we will have to do a sound check at the fairgrounds and then we will return home to paint ourselves. We will all be together, receiving the latest instructions that the director can give us and, above all, making a team," concludes the member of Tabletúos.
