Lava Live Festival 2026 will reinforce its identity as an event made from Lanzarote with its own gastronomic proposal, called BOKA, a differentiated brand linked to local produce, conceived to make food an essential part of the festival experience, under the slogan “From the best land, comes the best BOKA”.

Music will be the main focus of this edition, but not the only one. Since its presentation, Lava Live Festival has advocated for a broader vision of leisure and culture, in which the public can enjoy great national and international artists alongside a careful, recognizable gastronomic proposal connected to the territory. In this vein, the organization has worked on an offer of bokados designed for the rhythm of a festival, but with a more ambitious vision than the conventional catering of large events.

The BOKA commitment stems from a clear conviction of the promoting company: any event born in Lanzarote and aspiring to project itself outwards must also be a showcase of what the island produces, cultivates, transforms, and does well.

Therefore, Lava Live Festival wants to integrate gastronomy into its brand narrative, hand in hand with the areas linked to the economic promotion of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and in coherence with all those initiatives aimed at promoting local produce, quality cuisine, and the work of the primary sector.

Farmers, ranchers, producers, and processors are part of the recipe for any event that wants to speak truthfully about Lanzarote. On an island where landscape, land, effort, and identity are deeply united, gastronomy cannot occupy a secondary place.

The festival understands that those who promote leisure, culture, and music can also become prescribers of the island's pantry and contribute to giving visibility to a sector that sustains a good part of the territory's identity.

To develop this new gastronomic line, Lava Live Festival has the collaboration of chef Germán Blanco, a recognized professional with extensive experience in cuisine, who has designed a proposal adapted to the festival context: tasty, surprising bites, easy to enjoy during hours of concerts and capable of combining creativity, product, and functionality.

The idea is not to transfer a restaurant experience to the venue, but to create a gastronomy designed to experience live music. Comfortable dishes, agile formats, and elaborations with personality that allow the public to eat well without disconnecting from the festival atmosphere.

Hamburgers, snacks in bread, salads, potatoes with sauces, fresh proposals, and locally inspired creations will be part of a culinary line conceived to accompany the four days of Lava Live Festival with its own flavor.

From the organization, they emphasize that this gastronomic commitment also responds to the desire to differentiate the festival within the calendar of major musical events. “Lava Live Festival wants to be a complete experience. It’s not just about bringing great artists, but about building an event with the soul of Lanzarote. The music, the landscape, the gastronomy, the local product, and the way we receive the public have to speak the same language,” they point out.

Gastronomy thus becomes another tool for island promotion. Each snack can also be a way to tell the story of Lanzarote: its product, its primary sector, its cuisine, its producers, and its capacity to generate contemporary experiences without losing its roots. In an event that will bring together thousands of people over two weekends, this visibility represents an opportunity to continue connecting leisure, culture, local economy, and territory.

It's called Lava, it's experienced Live

The festival will unfold over two weekends with a program designed for diverse audiences and with its own identity each day.

On Friday, June 12, it will open with a proposal of a strong rock and indie character, with Leiva, Iván Ferreiro, and Molotov as the big names, accompanied by Los Callaos and DJ Tali Arenao, also contributing local talent to the experience.

On Saturday, June 13, it will opt for a more transversal and generational profile, with Hombres G as the main attraction, along with Ke Personajes, La Cabra Mecánica, La Tom Son, and DJ Nandy Paredes, on a day designed to connect different ages and styles.

The second weekend will kick off on Friday, July 24, with one of the most powerful combinations on the lineup, headlined by Juan Luis Guerra and Ana Mena, along with Juanma Restrepo, Ventura, Malpeis, and Renzzo El Selector, in an event with massive appeal for both local and visiting audiences. The closing will take place on Saturday, July 25, with a day of strong urban and international character, led by Nicky Jam and Nathy Peluso, along with Club Grasa, Barry B, Rodrigo Fénix, and Toni Bob, consolidating a contemporary and high-impact festival finale.

A lineup that, furthermore, highlights Lanzarote's talent with the presence of artists such as Los Callaos, Malpeis, DJ Tali Arenao, and DJ Nandy Paredes, reinforcing the festival's connection with the local scene.

The artistic proposal is completed with an offering that combines live music with gastronomy, leisure, and experiences that connect with Lanzarote's identity, consolidating a format that seeks to differentiate itself within the festival circuit.

Lava Live Festival thus continues its growth as one of the major cultural events in the Canary Islands, with a model that not only bets on artistic quality but also on generating economic impact and the destination's external projection. Driven by public institutions and private sponsors, the festival is consolidated as a strategic tool to position Lanzarote in the field of musical and experiential events.
